MAIN GOALS AND
OBJECTIVES
To aid, help, and promote self-help groups/savings and credit registered and unregistered groups, including the constitution of national benefit/revolving fund activities to help and serve the poor and strengthen the village economy
To promote and establish service programmes for the overall development of children, youth, women and their families in rural and urban areas, who are socially and economically deprived and denied
To undertake and extend various social service activities, emergency services, assistance and referral services in rural , urban areas irrespective of caste, creed or color
To act as a resource centre for Rural Development and coordinate with Government agencies or other Organisations to conduct research, training, and workshops to develop appropriate technology benefiting the economy and the environment
To participate in the Campaign against poverty, diseases like STDs, AIDS, drug use and alcoholism, female infanticide, and to organise programmes that would rehabilitate, help them
